Product certification classifies new building product, identifies where it is suitable for use and builds confidence in determining performance outcomes. Safe Environments prides itself on staying abreast of the latest updates to the National Construction Codes (NCC) and Australian Standards to ensure our partners’ products can be certified through the provision of our test reports. We are accredited with the National Association of Testing Authorities (NATA) for a number of tests and our assessors have been directly involved with the development of Australian slip resistance testing methods.

Do Your Products Meet Australian Standards?

Common products tested to Australian and International Standards include ceramic and natural stone products, tiles, vinyls and other surface and finishes. Our NATA-accredited slip test services verify if the proposed surface meets the requirements of the National Construction Codes as well as AS 4586-2013 Slip resistance classification of new pedestrian surface materials. Our team also carries out testing on construction materials intended for disability access and safety.
